Herro my little pretties,
I'm in an especially lovely mood this morning for several reasons:
1) My mom and pops decided to spoil me rotten this past Thursday and buy me a winter coat and boots, in addition to a HAWT jacket I can now wear for my New Year's soiree. This may not seem like a big deal to you high rollers out there, but as someone who has been struggling with a $300 VISA bill for the past 3 months, I can attest that this gift is very, very needed, and therefore extremely welcome and appreciated.
2) I have been a good girl and have actually been spreading my studying out over a few days for my two exams, so I don't have 8 chapters to read today! This is a miracle for me, and it has given me hope that I might actually do well. Hope is a necessity, because it facilitates further studying. When there is no hope, the doomsday exam scenario usually unfolds due to self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm very, very good at fulfilling the doomsday prophecy.
3) My room is spick-and-span clean, and I'm done work for the week!
4) I have a pot-luck lunch to look forward to on Thursday post exams with my grade 5's (who have been rocking my world for a half-year straight already - hard to believe).
5) I have a small get-together to look forward to tonight at a very good, very fun friend's house. I'm predicting crepes, guitars, and lots of laughs.
6) Pumpkin Face has promised me he will attend my New Year's soiree, and this kinda cancels out the crapiness of Zeebs not going for it... sort of. (I'm trying to be positive).
7) Spazzy has been very nice to me this week.
8) A has been writing to me, and I like hearing about what's going on in her life across the world.
9) It's a BEAUTIFUL day in the neighbourhood. Warm, sunny, and my parents aren't fighting.
What more can a girl ask for?

My sister wants an iPOD shuffle for Christmas, and I really can't afford to get her one, but I'm thinking I might anyway... I hope she doesn't read this.
I have no clue what to get anyone else, and it's driving me insane.
Ideas?
